Practice will begin for the boys' and girls' rec teams the last week of February 2024 (either February 26 or 27 depending on which location your son or daughter is practicing). All registered players will be contacted by the coach for their area prior to the first practice with additional practice information and details. The details included below are confirmed for the Spring 2024 season, but they are subject to change due to circumstances out of our control (e.g. the school districts can sometimes change things on us with minimal notice).
BOYS REC (U10, U12, U14) - NORTH COUNTY TEAM
DAY & TIME: Tuesdays/Thursdays from 4:15 - 5:45 p.m.
LOCATION: Tom Jermin Park in Templeton (formerly Bethel Park).
COACHES: Mario Alarcon, Randy Heinzen, Kevin Sass, Dan Sellers, Robert Shannon
BOYS REC (U10, U12, U14) - SAN LUIS OBISPO TEAM
DAY & TIME: Mondays/Thursdays from 4:45 - 6:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Laguna Middle School (lower field), 11050 Los Osos Valley Road, San Luis Obispo.
COACHES: Thomas Ladouceur, Paul Mateo, Pete Riolo, and Phil Siems
BOYS REC TEAMS (U10, U12, U14) - ARROYO GRANDE TEAM
DAY & TIME: Tuesdays/Thursdays from 4:30 - 5:45 p.m.
LOCATION: Paulding Middle School (track field on Stanley Avenue), Arroyo Grande.
COACHES: Dave Bufo, Robert Collett, and Patrick Rezzo
GIRLS TEAM
The past few seasons, there have been fewer girls registered to play than the boys teams. Since the numbers were smaller, practices were held in SLO for all of the registered girls in order to have the most productive practice possible. That is the tentative plan for the Spring 2024 season.
If registration numbers increase and there are enough players to hold practices in one of the other geographical regions in addition to SLO, then that will be assessed and determined prior to the start of the season. The girls are always welcome to attend the boys rec practices in their geographical area if they'd rather attend those practices.
DAY & TIME: Mondays/Thursdays from approximately 4:45 - 6:00 p.m. Exact times may change slightly.
