Practice will begin for the boys' and girls' rec teams the last week of February 2025. All registered players will be contacted by the coach for their area prior to the first practice with additional practice information and details. The details included below are tentative for the Spring 2025 season, and subject to change due to circumstances out of our control (e.g. field availability, coaches' schedules, etc.).
BOYS REC (U10, U12, U14) - NORTH COUNTY TEAM
DAY & TIME: Twice per week. Exact days to be determined. Practices are usually held from around 4:15 - 5:45 p.m.
LOCATION: Tom Jermin Park in Templeton (formerly Bethel Park) or Evers Park or other nearby location
COACHES: Mario Alarcon, Randy Heinzen, Kevin Sass, Dan Sellers, Robert Shannon
BOYS REC (U10, U12, U14) - SAN LUIS OBISPO TEAM
DAY & TIME: Twice per week. Exact days to be determined. Practices are usually held from around 4:30 - 5:45 p.m.
LOCATION: Laguna Middle School (tentative location)
COACHES: Paul Mateo, Pete Riolo, and Phil Siems
BOYS REC TEAMS (U10, U12, U14) - ARROYO GRANDE TEAM
DAY & TIME: Twice per week. Exact days to be determined. Practices are usually held from around 4:30 - 5:45 p.m.
LOCATION: Paulding Middle School (tentative location)
COACHES: Dave Bufo, Robert Collett, Frank Giannico, and Marc Lea
GIRLS TEAM
The past few seasons, there have been fewer girls registered to play than the boys teams. Since the numbers were smaller, practices were held in SLO for all of the registered girls in order to have the most productive practice possible. That is the tentative plan for the Spring 2025 season.
We are anticipating splitting the girls' practices into a younger and older age group to facilitate better practices and more even competition. We are uncertain at this time if those practices will be held simultaneously at the same location, or if the younger group will practice a bit earlier in the afternoon than the older group.
