805 Lacrosse is excited to offer a Bitty Lacrosse program for younger players – aged 6-8 - in Spring 2026. Our Bitty Lacrosse program is modeled after the successful Kidz Love Soccer classes and is a non-contact program designed to have fun while teaching fundamental lacrosse skills.

Players will attend six Saturday morning classes between mid-March and early May.

Players will be provided lacrosse sticks to use at each class. Cleats recommended but not required.

The six-session season will be held in San Luis Obispo (exact field is to be determined), and classes will run approximately 45 – 60 minutes.

All players will receive a reversible lacrosse jersey and an 805 Lacrosse shirt.

 

Practices will be held twice per week, likely in San Luis Obispo. Games will be held on Saturdays in San Luis Obispo at the same location as the boys' games (most games will be at Damon-Garcia Sports Complex). We will be holding intra-squad games on Saturdays based on age breakdowns and also plan on scheduling games against similar aged squads from nearby leagues (Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez, and/or Bakersfield). If registration numbers are higher than in past years, then we will explore holding practices in both SLO and an additional outlying area (e.g., Templeton or Arroyo Grande); however, please recognize that all practices may be held in SLO depending on registration numbers.

 

FREE LACROSSE EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE:

805 Lacrosse is offering free rental equipment for all girls who register for the Spring 2026 Season. For girls, required equipment (stick and goggles) will be provided at no cost if needed; players will need to provide their own cleats and mouthpiece and borrowed equipment will need to be returned at the end of the 2026 season. If your child needs equipment for the upcoming season, please select the equipment rental option available during the registration process.

The Spring 2026 boys’ programs will feature teams for ages 8-10 (10U), ages 11-12 (12U), and ages 13-14 (14U), and ages 15-18 for our competitive high school program. For our 10U, 12U, and 14U boys’ recreational programs, each age group will practice regionally, for example: if you live in north county, all practices for all age groups will be in the Templeton/Atascadero area. Games will be played centrally in San Luis Obispo. Our exact field locations are still TBD, but games are typically played at Damon-Garcia Sports Complex in SLO.

 

The season will be 7-8 games and held on Saturdays from mid-March through mid-May.
